It is difficult enough dating, without being stereotyped before you even set foot out the door! What are the differences between dating a blond vrs red head? Blonds get a bum rap about being gullible and somewhat dumb...so why do so many women want to be blond? Because, supposedly they have more fun! Why is that? Is it because they can play a role and get away with it, or because they are more captivating with their beautiful golden locks? Or is it that so many men gravitate towards blonds because they assume they are less maintenance and more fun? Redheads are notoriously known for being feisty and non compliant most of the time. Is there validity in this statement? Somewhat! I am a redhead and definitely stand up for myself regularly, but is it because I am stereotyped before I even open my mouth due to my hair color? Or am I really a strong-headed woman who doesn't allow herself to be walked over? I dyed my hair blond for a few years and I must admit, it was easier to meet men and I did date more frequently! It was a lot easier to get laid! (if that is what you were looking for!) Many men are men intimidated by redheads stature and self assurance. I have found confident men usually approach me more than quieter or reserved guys. Blonds and Redheads do stand out differently than brunettes for the most part, due to the majority of ethnic backgrounds natural hair color which is dark. (Asians, African American etc). I used to spend a lot of time in Japan and it was amazing how many Japanese women dyed their hair red and blond! They wanted to stand out and make a statement. Who is better in bed? Redheads will tell you what they like and don't like, that is not always a good thing. Yes, we are feisty but we say things to better the relationship not destroy it. We can be diplomatic. Wouldn't you rather have honesty, than a starfish in your bed? (that can be any hair color: it is someone who is basically just getting sex over with and puts no effort into it) If many blonds dye their hair, maybe they shouldn't be called dumb, due to the fact they are not natural blonds! We all know this is a general statement anyway, people just like to play with these stereotypes. Just as we the beavers are playing with the topic now. As a redhead I don't take offense to the comments that come with being a redhead, and neither does Sandra being a blond. Blonds may have more fun but redheads have more sex, according to new research in Germany. A study by Hamburg Sex Researcher Professor Dr Werner Habermehl looked at the sex lives of hundreds of German women and compared them with their hair colour.He said: “The sex lives of women with red hair were clearly more active than those with other hair colour, with more partners and having sex more often than the average. The research shows that the fiery redhead certainly lives up to her reputation.” Red stands for passion and when a man sees a redhead he will think he is dealing with a woman who won’t mess around, and gets straight to the point when it comes to sex.
